Introduction to Head Chair Jacqueline πŸ‘©πŸ½‍⚖️

Hello, OAS delegates! I am Jacqueline Arteaga and I am your head chair for this session of BMUN. I am a senior studying Political Science and Spanish Literature with some of my academic interests centering on international relations especially in terms of authoritarianism and state corruption.

Outside of BMUN, I am currently volunteering with the East Bay Sanctuary Covenant, a non profit that focuses on providing legal services and education to low income immigrants. I have also returned to an old job of mine as a BUILD mentor in which I help children reach their literacy goals.

However, when I am not in school or working with any of these organizations, I enjoy watching telenovelas and Korean dramas. I also enjoy listening to pop music, musicals, and older Latin ballads.
I can't wait to meet you all in February and see your amazing ideas.
